A lilttle while ago i was waching Sense & Sensibility for like the hundreth time and i don't really know why it came to me but it did.
i noticed that in Jane Austen's lovely novels almost all her herions always reject one man before marring the one they love or in some cases like in Persausion & Pride & Prejedice that they reject the man the loved/didn't know they loved/ ect . The only case that this does not happen is in Sense & Sensibility(hint: thats while it came to me in S & S) but though they don't reject another men before marring that man, there hearts were broken or put in pain by the man they love, Marianne by the cursed Wilabiy of course and Elinor put in pain by Edward because he was engaged to Lucy Steel but in the end they sill end up with the man they love. I really thought Jane Austen did this to empuvasize in her storys the thing she would only marry for... true love.
Pride & Prejedice- Lizzy rejects Mr. Collins and Mr.Darcy(but as we know marries Mr. Darcy laterr ΓΌ )
Mansfield Park- Fanny Rejects Mr.Crowford
Emma- Emma rejects Mr.Elton
Persausion- Anne rejects Wentworth (then thanks to the lovely letter marries Wentworth)
Northanger Abbey- Catherine reject Mr.Thorpe.
P.s
And thanks to the lovely Miss. Jane Austen and her novels of romance, love, and rejection some of has heavens inside one of her books( a comfort zone if you may say so) which to me made me feel great just to sit down and read her novels late at night to ease your mind or just for the love of it, and who made mee feel like i can find my own Mr.Darcy in this hectic world.
